Rapid Access Clinic (RAC) at Equinox Health
RAC is an urgent care clinic offered weekday afternoons by Equinox family doctors on a rotating basis.
For your convenience we offer the ability to book these specific appointments online.
Appointments are available for booking ~24 hrs in advance.

For existing Equinox Health clinic patients only
For urgent time sensitive health concerns only. If your concern is not urgent please book with your family physician.
Please read below for general guidelines before booking a RAC appointment :
Not for routine medication refills, routine chronic condition follow-ups, non urgent review of results, wart treatments etc - please book ahead with your regular family doctor for these.
Not for narcotic or controlled substance prescriptions - please plan to make appointments before your prescription expires with you regular doctor for this.
Please be respectful of using the RAC appts appropriately; we strive to be available to our patients when they need to see us urgently, and RAC appts are limited and are in high demand.
We care for over 11,000 Yukoners at our clinic—please use the Rapid Access Clinic responsibly and avoid overuse to keep access fair for all patients.
RAC is not for Solstice Maternity patients: Please call the clinic for urgent fit-ins if you are a Solstice Maternity patient at our clinic.
Out of medication? Contact your pharmacist—Yukon regulations allow refill extensions until your next appointment.
Booking for your child? Use your own name and email when booking; we’ll update to the child’s name at check-in.
Frequent or repeat no show appointments for RAC may result in inability to book these appointments online. If you booked a RAC apt, and can no longer attend, please cancel online or call the clinic to cancel ASAP.
